Eugenia was a very dear lady to whom when I was living in Athens I was visiting very often spending my Sunday's at her warm and full of art house.I hold very dear memories of all our talks and secrets and I own some of her delicious recipe's that are typical athenian sunday dishes.Having said that her Melomakarona were the best I have tried for me specificaly because they were more crunchy that what normally are and her recipe is so valuable to me as while making them is like I have her by my side talking to me and make all the according corrections as she was doing always in a very good intention.I miss her loads but sharing this recipe gives me the chance to share with you all these details and in a way keeping her in my heart.
