True Blue contains three lines - Anna, James, and Star Platters.
The Anna plates are inspired by my dear friend Anna, whose home in Paris has been a shelter for me ever since we met. She’s obsessed with the colour blue , an art collector, an incredible cook (even though in real life she is a doctor) and the heart behind this collection. Her world inspired me to create these simple yet statement plates.
The James plates draw from the rhythm and energy of James Brown’s paintings, which Anna first introduced me to.
The Star Platters are an interpretation of the ancient Cycladic frying pans, timeless forms that have always fascinated me.
